Life isn’t always an easy road, but I choose to focus on the good parts and stay positive, simply because life is too short to do otherwise. What I find best to focus on are the things that I am grateful for. This doesn’t mean my life is perfect, by any means, or that things are easy for me. I have worked hard for everything that I have accomplished and I am grateful to those who have helped me along the way in any capacity.
Surprisingly, there has been much negativity in the home decor paint world, which I find rather odd.
It’s just paint folks!
And there is room for all of us. Despite the negativity that surrounds this paint business, I have much to be grateful for…
I love to paint and I love to teach others specialty painted finishes and techniques. In this journey, I have tried several lines of chalk based paints, as well as, other home decor paints and many products for finishing furniture.
I like to know what’s available, and I do not discriminate; I will mix paint from other lines to create a fun custom color! Even though I sell paint, I do not have a problem doing this on occasion, but I love the paint lines that I retail and I’m very proud to be a retailer for each.
Number one, I love that they are all ZERO VOC’s, so they are safe for the consumer and the environment.
Number two, I absolutely love the color palettes!
Number three, I love their ease of use and the endless possibilities in finishes. Of course, there is much more, but it would take too long in this one post to cover all of it.
I am also grateful for the amazing lines of paint that I have the privilege of retailing in our adorable little shop… The Real Milk Paint Co., Blackberry House Paints, American Paint Company, and recently added, Debbi’s Design Diary DIY Paint! I would like to say thank you to all of these companies for entrusting me with your paint and product lines here in Huntsville, AL!
